AISFM SCREENING

Showcase your short film to industry professionals, buyers, and festival programmers at the inaugural African International Short Film Market (AISFM). Selected films will be part of our curated market screening programme.
Submit your Film
Film submissions for screening at the African International Short Film Market (AISFM) are open to all filmmakers.
Selected films may be invited to participate in the AISFM market programme. Filmmakers representing selected films who wish to access industry activities such as pitch sessions, the Deal Room, and networking events may be required to obtain Seller Accreditation.

Submission Categories

  • AISFM Market Premieres — films ready for distribution.
  • AISFM Discovery — emerging voices and first-time filmmakers.
  • AISFM Industry Preview — works in progress (optional depending on your policy)

Submission Guidelines

  • Films must be completed or near-complete.
  • Films submitted will be reviewed by AISFM programmers.
  • Selected films may be invited to participate in market activities.
  • Filmmakers who wish to participate in Deal Room, pitch sessions, or networking events will need to secure a Seller Accreditation.

WHO CAN SUBMIT
Film submissions are open to filmmakers worldwide. We accept completed short films across all genres
Can unfinished films submit?
Only completed films will be considered for screening. Works-in-progress may be submitted to the “Industry Preview” category if applicable, but access to market activities may require additional accreditation.
Do I need a Seller badge to submit?
No — submitting your film is free and does not require a badge. Selected films may later be invited to participate in market activities (Deal Room, pitch sessions, networking), which requires Seller Accreditation.
How will I know if my film is selected?
AISFM programmers will review all submissions. Selected filmmakers will be notified via email and included in the curated screening programme.

Can I submit more than one film?
Yes — each film must be submitted separately with its own form.
Is there a submission fee?
For this edition, film submissions are free.

Submission deadline:
April 4, 2026
