Filmjoint Membership
The Filmjoint membership is strictly for Filmmakers or film artists who have been involved in any creative or non-creative (Film Executives) capacity in the creation of a Film. Members may also include film enthusiasts and critics but this would be subject to our discretion. Members can register in any category ranging from Actors to Producers. Members can enter their films for an award, they also enjoy a host of other benefits and offers.
WHO CAN BECOME A MEMBER
Filmjoint Membership is strictly limited to people involved in the making of films in different capacities, including the non-creative fields, like film executives and cinephiles.
HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER
Membership for the Filmjoint is by invitation or registration. Filmmakers who made it to the Final Five (Official Selection) at The Filmjoint Premieres have automatic membership. Membership for the Filmjoint is reviewed and renewed annually.

Registration to be a member comes with an annual fee of N10,000.

Nomination & Voting
There are 18 categories, with 11 open for voting. However, after voting, the top three in each category are screened by a Judge and the winner is selected. Out of the remaining 7 categories, 4 are strictly determined by the Judges; Best Picture, Best International Film, Jury Award for Outstanding Storytelling, Best African Film, whilst the final 3 categories - Best Indigenous Film, Best Screenplay (Original or Adapted) and Filmjoint Award for Voice of Impact - are evaluated by the Nomination Panel and Sponsor of the Voice of Impact category, respectively.
The categories open for voting are; Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Sound Design, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Costumier, Best Make/SFX, Best Film Editing, Best Documentary, Best Student Film.
