Lola Maja is a Multi Disciplined Professional Creative and Educator. With over 30 years experience working within various sectors in the industry, including but not limited to makeup for Fashion, Editorial, Beauty, Film & TV and Music (Live Events and Videos). She is known for working on several major fashion events and on major films such as The Figurine, Swallow, The CEO and October 1 for which she won the 2015 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award for “Best Make-up”. She also worked as the make-up artist for the third and fourth seasons of the television drama series Shuga. She is also a qualified Beauty Therapist and Adult Educator using her vast knowledge to open and run 2 Salons and Academies in both the UK and Nigeria as well as launching the first Nigerian Owned Lash Brand in 2010. After a broad career within the makeup industry she launched the first Dedicated Film & TV Store in West Africa in 2016 ( The SFX Store). Maja has worked with supermodels like Iman and Tyson Beckford and other celebrities Wizkid, Banky W, Tiwa Savage, Ciara, Raheem Sterling, Burna Boy, Tony Elumelu, Aliku Dangote, amongst others. a wide range in her make-up portfolio, from special effects to bridal, from beauty to creative fashion. |
Ty Leisher, co-founder of Exit 44 Entertainment, boasts nearly a decade of experience in film sales and acquisitions. Since establishing Exit 44 Entertainment in 2020 with collaborator Eric Brodeur, he has successfully produced, financed, or sold over 10 films. Ty’s expertise spans the entire filmmaking process, from concept to distribution. Under his leadership, Exit 44 has delivered standout projects like The Haunting of the Mary Celeste, Val, and 11th Hour Cleaning, captivating audiences worldwide. Known for crafting concept-driven horror and action films, Ty’s unique global market perspective adds depth to his projects. His feature directorial debut, 11th Hour Cleaning, received critical acclaim, solidifying his status as a rising industry talent. The crime thriller web series, Bullets, earned accolades from Bluff Magazine as “better than Rounders”, while Ty’s writing garnered recognition from prestigious organizations, including the Sundance Film Festival. |
BABATUNWA ADERINOKUN is the managing director and founder of Trino Studios. Having studied Business Management at the University of Surrey, he decided to follow his passion for the performing arts and established the studio in 2012. With a Production Foundation short course at the London Film Academy and an editing short course at MET Film School in London, he started off shooting short films including the 2016 AMVCA-winning short film, The Encounter, and in 2018 released his first feature film, Sylvia. He is the Executive Producer of Three Thieves, The RazzGuy, and The One for Sarah. |
